Cape York Battery Power Plant
Cape York Battery Power Plant is about three kilometres south of Lakeland, adjacent to the Mulligan Highway. It will connect to the existing Ergon electricity transmission line that runs through the site.
Each will have a four hour duration battery energy storage system and dispatch firm clean energy through a single connection point, using a single power plant controller.
